Shipping Policy and Tracking

+ Shipping Policy
  • At CompuVest Corp. discretion we reserve the rights to reject products after inspection (i.e. physical damage or incomplete packaging)
  • In the event that physical damage is caused during transit of a return, it is the customers responsibility to contact the carrier to start a damage claim immediately upon receiving CompuVest's notification. The responsibility is between customer and carrier, not Compuvest Corp.
  • Compuvest Corp. will only keep physically damaged returns for 10 weeks, after that Compuvest Corp. will dispose of items locally without issuing credit or further notice.
  • All International orders which are shipped via USPS and has successfully left United States (as per USPS tracking information) Compuvest Corp. we will not be held responsible for loss or damage of your purchase.
+ I need to know the shipping cost before placing the order
You will know exactly how much the shipping will cost before placing the order. In order to calculate the shipping cost before placing an order, add an item to the shopping cart, then click on "View Cart". From there you can either continue to the checkout or use the shipping calculator. To use the shipping calculator, choose the country of destination, enter the zip or postal code, and press the "Update" button. You will see the list of all available shipping methods and rates for the code you have entered.
+ What are the shipping options and Cut-Off times ?
We ship our products from our warehouses in the United States, using FedEx as our main delivery carrier. USPS or FedEx is used primarily for military APO and FPO addresses. We ship 98% of our daily orders on the same day. However we do not offer the Same Day Delivery. Here are the shipping services offered:
  1. Next day - cut off time 2 P.M. Pacific Time:
    1. Next Day Air (Guaranteed by 10:30 am)
    2. Next Day Air Early A.M.(Guaranteed by 8:30 am), if available in your area.
    3. Next Day Air Saver (Guaranteed by the end of the day)
    4. Saturday delivery by noon, if available in your area (for orders shipped on Friday specifically for Saturday delivery)
  2. Second day air - cut off time 2 P.M. Pacific Time
    1. Second Day Air (Guaranteed by the end of the second business day)
    2. Second Day Air A.M. (Guaranteed by noon of the second business day)
  3. 3-day select (Guaranteed within 3 business days) - cut off time 2 P.M. Pacific Time
  4. Ground - cut off time 4.30 P.M. Pacific Time. Please note that Ground residential delivery is not guaranteed within a certain time frame.
If you need the product to be shipped later than specified cut-off times, please contact CompuVest customer service for special arrangments.

We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays and all major holidays. You can determine the cost of your shipment either in "Check Out" process or by using CompuVest shipping calculator. The system will automatically calculate cost of delivery based on the method of delivery, weight of the product, destination state and a cost of insurance. We will contact you if the actual price differs. If you need a different type of delivery, not listed above, please call us to make special arrangements.
+ Will everything that I ordered ship together ?
Not necessarily. In order to provide the fastest (on time) service we may ship products from different warehouses. Sometimes the products are available in one location, and not another. We try to coordinate the shipments so that our customers get everything on time. There is no effect on customer's shipping charges. This is a part of our customer satisfaction program.

If, for some reason, you need separate orders to be combined, or need all items shipped together, please email our Customer Service.
+ Can I pick up my order ?
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide this service at this time. This option is only available for local contracted companies. All other orders must be shipped from the warehouse.
+ Do you ship internationally ?
Yes. Compuvest is proud to serve customers from all around the world and welcomes international orders. If your payment has been done properly, your order will be shipped out either by UPS international Service or US Express mail.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all additional fees, duties, taxes, associated with orders shipped outside of the continental USA.
+ Do you ship to military APO ?
Military orders can ONLY be shipped via US Mail (USPS). Even if you choose another shipping option when placing an order, it will be shipped via USPS.
+ How do I track the package ?
After the order gets shipped, tracking information gets uploaded to Order Tracking page within one business day. You will need to call the carrier with the tracking number and determine the location of your package. Once the carrier picked up the package, travel time is out of our control. If you suspect that the package was lost or delivered to the wrong address, please read "I am missing a part of my order" section to fill out a special form.

Payment

+ What are the payment options for orders shipped to US ?
For orders shipped to US we accept major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express). We also accept COD, bank wire transfer, and Western Union. For information on how to make a payment correctly please visit the Payments section of CompuVest web site.
+ What are the payment options for international customers ?
For orders shipped outside of US we accept payments made by American Express credit card, bank wire transfer or Western Union. For information on how to make a payment correctly please visit the Payments section of CompuVest web site.
+ Government, Educational or Corporate qualify terms.
CompuVest is proud to serve Government, Educational and Corporate organizations. We accept purchase orders and offer special pricing and payment arrangements for large orders.
Typically we offer Net 30 terms for Government, Educational, and Corporate clients. In order to process your PO we must receive a copy of the PO signed by the purchasing agent of your organization. The PO must clearly indicate billing and shipping addresses, contact phone and fax numbers. Corporate clients must supply us with bank and trade references, along with the Dun & Bradstreet number. Corporate orders are subject to credit approval. All sales and return policies apply to all CompuVest customers.
In order to enter correct pricing and shipping information on the PO, you can can either call us to verify prices and shipping charges, or simply print out the order in the check out process with exact prices and shipping charges. + I need more product information
All information we have is on our web site. We do not provide technical support or assistance. If you need more information about the product we recommend searching the Internet. You can click here to go to the list of manufacturers.
+ What does OEM, Bulk, Refurbished, Extra Life... mean ?
OEM, Bulk, Plain Box products have the following features:
  1. No fancy packaging (Plain box product comes in a plain box, OEM or Bulk - in an anti-static wrap.)
  2. Accessories may differ (Accessories that usually come with the retail version may or may not be included.)
  3. User's manual may differ (User's manual may be abridged or not included. Please use Manufacturer's web site for complete manuals.)
  4. Software bundle may differ (Usually those products include drivers, but not include additional software that comes with the retail version of the product.)
  5. Technical support from manufacturer may differ (Usually manufacturers do not offer full technical support to end users on these types of products. The cost of technical support that you pay for when purchasing a retail version is not included when you purchase OEM, Bulk or Plain Box version.)
  6. Warranty period may differ (Please check the warranty on the item description. If it differs from "normal" manufacturer's warranty, we specify the warranty in the product description.)

Retail
These products you will see on a retail store shelf. Packages include accessories and bundled software advertised by manufacturer. They are intended for an end-user.
Multi-pack
Products are packaged in bulk by 5-100 pieces per box. Multi-pack products usually come with one Manual and one set of Drivers per box, not per item.
Retail Open Box
This is new product in the original packaging but has been opened and possibly used for a short time, usually a demonstration unit. Since these items can not be advertised as Retail product, they are sold as "Open Box". They may not include all accessories that usually come with Retail Packaging.
New Pulls/OEM
Products are New, usually purchased in Bulk by us. This equipment was disassemble from whole new units for reselling. Products do not come with software or instructions unless indicated. Products are inspected by Compuvest technicians to ensure it is fully functional.
Factory Refurbished
Products are Refurbished to the exact manufacturer specifications by the original manufacturer in a certified refurbishing center. Products may be used or unused and have been cleaned, quality checked and tested, they have been serviced if needed by the manufacturer's certified center. Factory Refurbished products can have minor cosmetic blemishes and may or may not come with Manuals, Batteries or Back up Disks, unless indicated.
Refurbished
Products are refurbished by a 3rd part facility, not the original manufacturer. These products may have minor cosmetic blemishes due to normal usage. Products have been tested and generally have never had any defects. Products may or may not come with Manual, Batteries or Back up Disks, unless indicated. Compuvest ensures these products are cleaned to our highest standards.
Reconditioned
These products are required to pass a careful assessment and testing by Compuvest Technicians before they are released to the customer. These products are packaged in their reconditioned form and may include basic accessories such as Cables and/or Batteries, check the item description for detailed list of accessories.
Used Pulls
Products are pulled from a whole used unit for reselling, it is purchased by us in Bulk and may have minor scratches and blemishes. These products do not come with Software or Instructions unless otherwise indicated. Compuvest Technicians have inspected this product to ensure it is fully functional.
"Extra Life" Tapes
100% Guaranteed for life. Only tapes that pass all phases of the process can be sold as "Extra Life". A visual hands-on inspection for mechanical and cosmetic defects is conducted; all labels and barcodes are removed. All data is destroyed using data tape and drive manufacturer approved processes, this insures the security and confidentiality of the data. Tapes are tested to insure their performance with acceptance standards higher then original OEM standards for new tapes. Packaging includes new case, new j-card insert, security seal, shrink-wrap and cardboard sleeve. "Extra Life" tapes will be recognized and treated by the drive the same as blank, new tapes.

CompuVest Corp. is Not Selling or Sharing Customer's Information to a Third Party in any form!

+ What is the order acceptance policy ?
Your submission of an order and/or receipt of an order confirmation, automated or otherwise, does not signify our acceptance of such order. CompuVest reserves the right to cancel any order that we deem necessary, at our sole discretion, regardless of the order status or whether you have received a confirmation of the order. We reserve the right to require additional information from you before accepting or processing any order.

Price changes, Errors, and Omissions:
In the event that an incorrect price is listed due to typographical, informational, technical or other error, CompuVest shall have the right, at our sole discretion, to either honor the displayed price or refuse/cancel any orders placed for that product with incorrectly listed price. CompuVest reserves the right to honor or refuse prices within two days from the time of purchase. CompuVest reserves the right to make adjustments due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or typographical errors in advertisements.

CompuVest always strives to make sure that the information presented online is accurate.

+ How do I cancel my order ?
We cannot cancel or change the orders that have been shipped. If this is the case, you will need to return the package, at your (the buyer's) expense which is subject to 15% restocking fee. Shipping charges not refundable.
Once in an order has been confirmed and cancelation has been requested by an end-user 15% restocking fee may be applied at Compuvest.com discretions.
You may see a credit card charge on your bank statement dated the time of the original order placement.
After the order has been cancelled CompuVest will refund the credit card fully. It may take about 2-7 business days for the funds to appear on your bank statement.
+ I could not find a product on your web site
